What’s the project?

You are being invited to take part in a project called YEAH which is part of the YOUTHreach project. This study looks at how Youth Mental Health Support Centres, like PAUSE Birmingham, help young people with their mental health.

This study is part of a larger international project (YOUTHreach: https://youth-reach.eu/ ).

If you join you will:

  • Answer questionnaires about how you feel and your mental health.
  • This happens 4 times over one year. Each time takes about 30-60 mins.
  • Some young people may also be asked to complete an interview or use a phone app (both are optional)

The first questionnaire will be in person, and the remaining appointments can be online or in person depending on which you prefer.

You can participate if you:

  • Are between 12-25 years old and
  • Are experiencing psychological stress
  • Can understand English

  • Are happy to complete questionnaires about your well-being online at several timepoints.

You will get shopping vouchers for filling in questionnaires:

  • £15 at the start
  • £15 after 3 months
  • £30 after 6 months
  • £30 after 12 months
