Shaping Co-Production opportunities for 18–25-year-olds in West London.

What’s the project?

Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow (HFEH) Mind is a mental health charity based in West London. It offers services for children and young people (CYP), aged 5-18 and adults, aged 18 and over. Within these services is the Co-production team. Co-production CYP and Co-production Adult Services work with service users to design, deliver and evaluate and new and existing services in the tri-borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow.

The goal of this project is to shape a new co-production service for young adults aged 18-25. This Young Adult Co-Production 18–25 group will support a smooth transition from CYP services  into adult services at HFEH Mind.

The group also acts as a bridge, allowing young people  to be involved in new co-production opportunities once they become 18 and meet like-minded peers.

HFEH Mind will be organising an in-person focus group to take place on Monday 24th November. No prior experience of attending focus groups is necessary, and the session is open to anyone with a passion for improving mental health services or with lived experience with mental health challenges. The focus group will be facilitated by CYP Co-production co-ordinator Sharnae and Adult Services Co-production co-ordinator Nasreen. During the focus group, young people will be asked a series of questions to help:

  • Develop an understanding of co-production
