Remit of the group
The involvement team will provide general advice on and support for the overall strategy for patient and public involvement in MindTech. The group will support, for example:
• The development of the involvement plan and have some oversight of its implementation (supporting good practice, rather than management/operations)
• Researchers with involvement in individual MindTech projects – there will be opportunities for MindTech researchers to come to the Reference Group for advice on their involvement strategies matched to the needs of the individual projects.
• Work to establish user identified clinical priorities for technology.
• How we assess the impact of involvement in MindTech.
This list is not definitive and will develop as MindTech develops.
Frequency of meetings
Monthly.
Who can consult the group?
The group is focused on research technologies for mental health – we welcome involvement with projects relating to this topic area from outside of MindTech, as well as within.

More about the group (optional)
This group was first convened in September 2013 as MindTech was being set up. As such we are a young group still establishing our role and remit within MindTech and the field of technology for mental health. We welcome contact with other involvement in research groups in mental health and the technology fields.
