Remit of the group
The Medication Access Care and Equality (MACE) group is a research advisory group for The Offender Health Research Network (OHRN) at the University of Manchester.
The group get involved in developing and reviewing research grant proposals and writing lay summaries. Some members of the group have received research methods training and are looking to become peer researchers.
Current research studies include:
A study of psychotropic medication prescribing patterns in English prisons: a mixed methods study
Management of released prisoners with severe and enduring mental illness:adaptation of the critical time intervention
Frequency of meetings
As and when. At least quarterly.

Any researcher at the University of Manchester and research collaborators from other institutions.
