Review of A&E Treatment for People Who Have Used Self Harm in Bristol – October 2013.
More about the group (optional)
In 2013, SISH were asked to run an independent review of people’s experiences of using A&E for self-harm treatment. This involved co-design of a questionnaire with experts by experience, administration of the questionnaire, qualitative and quantitative analysis, report writing, recommendations and dissemination. In conjunction with Bristol Psychiatric Liaison Teams we facilitated workshops with experts by experience, clinicians (A&E consultants, doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, and mental health nurses), reception staff and commissioners to develop working groups in order to implement the research recommendations.
