Dr Thomas Kabir

Thomas has worked on a variety of research studies, often around psychosis or paranoia. He also has an interest in research ethics and chairs a Research Ethics Committee.

Before McPin Thomas worked in mental health roles from advocacy to supporting the roll-out of new therapy services in London. He was also coordinator of a national service user involvement arm within the NIHR Clinical Research Network for 5 years.

He has worked on national public and patient involvement in research initiatives and helped produce resources which support people receiving benefits to be paid for involvement work. Thomas has a PhD from University College London.
