Words That Carry On
A fund set up in the memory of Lindsay Riddoch dedicated to investing in mental health research. Lindsay was an ardent advocate for better mental health services and was intent on ensuring those with lived experience of mental health problems had their voices heard. Word That Carry On was set up in 2018 and in 2020 launch their first request for research proposals, focusing on the intersection of personality disorder and autism.
Judi Meadows Memorial Fund
Amy Meadows, McPin Trustee, established this fund in 2009 to help prevent deaths by suicide in memory of her mother – Judi Meadows. It is hosted by McPin. Annual activities include a Time to Talk event at St Martin–in–the–Field, London, for families bereaved by suicide. Fundraising has been sustained by two art auctions which has enabled commissioned research into Tinnitus and depression, GPs role in supporting people at risk of suicide, and providing guidance to support bereaved families.
